Session Types
Private Sauna Session
A Private Sauna Session gives your group exclusive use of the sauna and shared facilities for the maximum number of guests permitted within that booking type.
Social Sauna Session
A Social Sauna Session allows individual guests to enjoy the sauna experience alongside other visitors during the allocated time slot. Capacity is limited to ensure a comfortable and relaxing environment for everyone.
Sauna Safety & Guidelines
All guests use Sonny’s Sauna facilities entirely at their own risk. Sauna bathing and cold-water exposure can place stress on the body, and participation may not be suitable for everyone.
If you are pregnant, have any medical concerns, heart or blood pressure conditions, respiratory illness, or are taking prescription medication, please consult your GP before booking or using the sauna facilities.
If you feel unwell, dizzy, faint, overheated, or uncomfortable at any time, leave the sauna immediately and seek assistance from a member of staff.
Guests using plunge pools or cold-water facilities do so at their own risk and should only participate if confident in their ability to tolerate cold exposure.
Sauna Etiquette
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly ask guests to follow these guidelines:
Swimwear must be worn at all times.
Please bring a towel to sit on inside the sauna.
Sessions inside the sauna should generally be limited to 5–15 minutes at a time.
Move carefully when entering or exiting, as surfaces may become slippery.
Respect fellow guests and ask before adding water to the sauna stones.
Only use the water provided by staff on the sauna rocks.
Do not touch the stove or heater under any circumstances.
Jewellery and metal accessories should be removed before entering the sauna.
Oils, lotions, and creams are not permitted inside the sauna.
Alcohol, smoking, and food are strictly prohibited within the sauna facilities.
Stay hydrated before, during, and after your session.
We recommend resting and cooling down gradually between sauna rounds to allow your body time to recover.
Personal Belongings
Changing facilities and storage areas are provided for guest convenience; however, all belongings are left entirely at the owner’s risk. Sonny’s Sauna accepts no responsibility for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
Right of Admission
Sonny’s Sauna reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest who appears intoxicated, behaves inappropriately, or presents a health and safety concern to themselves, staff, or other visitors. Refunds will not be issued in these circumstances.
Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
By making a booking and using Sonny’s Sauna facilities, you acknowledge and accept that sauna use, hot/cold exposure, and related activities involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, or, in rare cases, death.
You voluntarily accept full responsibility for your participation and agree that Sonny’s Sauna, its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or claims arising from use of the facilities, except where required by Irish law.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused through negligent or improper use of the sauna or surrounding facilities.
This agreement shall be governed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Refunds
Bookings cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a refund.
Late Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session are non-refundable.
Rescheduling
Where possible, we will do our best to accommodate booking changes with reasonable notice.
If Sonny’s Sauna must cancel a session due to weather, maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Privacy Policy
Sonny’s Sauna is committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal data responsibly in line with applicable Irish and EU data protection laws.
We may collect personal information including your name, email address, phone number, and booking details when you make a reservation, contact us, or subscribe to updates.
Payments made online may be securely processed through trusted third-party providers. Sonny’s Sauna does not store full payment card information.
Your personal information will only be used:
To manage bookings and customer communication
To provide customer support
To send updates or marketing communications where consent has been provided
We will never sell your personal data to third parties.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.
