Spring into Spring: Yoga & Microgreens
Celebrate the Spring Equinox at Ballyglunin Station
21 March, Saturday, 10:00–12:30
Step into the new season with a nourishing and uplifting morning designed to awaken body, mind and spirit. As we welcome the Spring Equinox — a time of balance, renewal and fresh beginnings — you’re invited to gather in the beautiful surroundings of Ballyglunin Station for a truly special experience.
We’ll begin with an energizing spring yoga practice, gently awakening the body after winter and building warmth, vitality and clarity. The session is led by Leila, qualified yoga teacher, who is currently completing her Level 6 Regenerative Agriculture course.
Following yoga, we’ll explore the vibrant world of microgreens — tiny plants packed with flavour, colour and impressive nutritional benefits. You’ll learn:
The powerful health benefits of microgreens
How simple and affordable they are to grow at home
Practical tips to get started successfully
How they support seasonal, regenerative food systems
Together, we will plant seeds — both metaphorically and literally — setting intentions for the months ahead while sowing microgreens to take home and nurture. It’s a beautiful reminder that small actions can lead to abundant growth.
Seasonal treats will be served, celebrating fresh spring flavours and nourishing ingredients.
This gathering is about more than yoga or growing food. It’s about creating meaningful connections —
✨ To ourselves
✨ To each other
✨ To nature
Join us as we welcome the light, embrace new beginnings and step into spring with intention, vitality and community.
Investment: €35
Early bird until 8 March: €30
Spaces are limited — we would love to welcome you.
“I attended the Autumn Equinox Retreat and it was an absolutely gorgeous experience. Leila is a wonderful baker, and her homemade sourdough, cheese scones, individual apple pies, and sourdough cookies added so much to the day.
The location was fab and beautifully set up, with an altar decorated with foraged treasures from her farm, creating such a special atmosphere.
What made so meaningful was the way Leila facilitated women of all ages to come together and share in the experience. The whole morning had a beautiful energy, nourishing, grounding, and uplifting. I left feeling deeply rested, helped and rejuvenated. ”
